VIDARBHA girls shook off two successive losses to post a fluent seven-wicket victory over Chandigarh in their Group B league match in the U-19 Women’s T20 Trophy at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Stadium in Lahli, Haryana, on Friday. Vidarbha girls, who lost to Andhra and Tamil Nadu, dismissed Chandigarh for 63, thanks to some fine bowling by Trupti Lodhe (3-6) and Yashshri Soley (2-15). They knocked off the required runs in 14.3 overs with Akshara Itankar leading the way with an unbeaten 26. They play Nagaland next on Sunday.
