THE two-day conference ‘New Dimension in Diabetes NDID2024’ organised under the aegis of Mahi Diabetes Thyroid Care and Research Center, Mahi IVF Women Health Care Center and National Congress on Diabetes, concluded on a successful node. The event was conducted by Dr Ashish Dengra, founder of Mahi Diabetes Thyroid and Research Centre and the city’s well-known diabetes thyroid and obesity specialist, Dr Ishita Sachdeva from Mumbai and cardiologist Dr Shishir Soni. Member of Parliament Ashish Dubey graced the programme as chief guest. CMHO, MPDHS Dr Sanjay Mishra and MLA Abhilash Pandey were the guests of honour. Dr Manish Mishra and senior doctor Dr Ashok Barat were special invitees.
 
MP Ashish Dubey praised Dr Ashish Dengra for his efforts in the field of diabetes and for highlighting Jabalpur’s name at the international level. Organising Chairman Dr Dengra informed that during second day of the conference, students from NSCBMC, Jabalpur presented posters and papers. Later, Dr Vinod Mittal (Delhi), Dr Kannan N (Chennai), Dr Faraz Farishta (Hyderabad), Dr Amit Rajput ( Jalgaon), Dr Raka Shivhare (Raipur), Dr Deepak Bahrani, Dr Rajesh Agarwal (Indore), Dr Ashish Dengra (Jabalpur), Dr Rajiv Kovil (Mumbai) and others presented their lectures about the latest method of treatment of diabetes. Dr Jigyasa Dengra, Organising Secretary of NDID 2024, said that for the first time in the history of Madhya Pradesh, the Juvenile Diabetes Conference was organised in which senior doctors from across the country and abroad discussed about treatment of type 1 diabetes. Dr Dengra, the Organising Chairman, said that the main objective of Diabetes Conference was to educate people suffering from Type 1 Diabetes and to avail the latest treatment to the patients. For the last 16 years, Dr Dengra has been continuously organising such multidimensional and public benefiting programmes. Organising Secretary Dr Jigyasa Dengra informed that on the first day, more than 6000 senior doctors from India and abroad participated in this programme through the link available through the internet. Whereas during second day, around 400 to 500 doctors from Jabalpur and its surrounding areas registered their presence.
