UNDER the aegis of National
Integrated Medical Association
(NIMA), Women’s Forum, Nagpur,
Kingsway Hospital and Institute of
Onco Sciences, 68 patients were
screened for possible breast cancer
free of cost through the latest 3D digital mammography machine. The
check up were done in the premises
of Sai Mandir located Ayodhyanagar
in the city.
The inauguration of the event was
done at the hands of Shripatrao
Mahajan, President of Sai Mandir
Sevashram Trust while chief guest of
the function was Dr Arundhati Lote,
Breast Cancer Onco Surgeon. Dr
Ravindra Bothra presided over the
programme.
In his inaugural speech, Mahajan
highlighted the work of National
Integrated Medical Association.
He
said NIMA has done commendable
work while discharging its responsibility for the society. “It is providing
free mammography to 68 patients is
an example in itself. Sai Mandir
Pratishthan is always ready to support it whenever NIMA does such
constructive work for the society in
future,” he said.
Dr Arundhati Lote, said “if such
cancer related programmes are organised, we will definitely cooperate
with NIMA.”
In his presidential address, Dr
Bothra gave his best wishes to the representatives of the organisation. Dr
Veena Faye, Dr Mamta Revatkar, Dr
Vaishali Charade, Dr Nitin Kanholkar,
Dr Sharad Thakur, Dr Pankaj Thul, Dr
Mrinmayee Masodkar, Dr Meenakshi
Saratkar, Dr Pankaj Bhoyar, Dr Rupali
Dangore were seated on the dais.
