ARANG,  Chhattisgarh Day was celebrated at 43rd International Trade Fair held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with the event being inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. Dr Purushottam Chandrakar, who is also the founder of Lokranjani Lok Kala Manch, presented a vibrant display of Chhattisgarhi folk traditions, including popular songs and dances such as Gaura-Gauri, Bhojali, Raut Nacha, Sua, Panthi, Karma, and Dadriya. CM praised the team’s performance, highlighting the beauty of the traditional folk art and presenting a memento to encourage their efforts. The programme, which took place at the Amphitheater in Bharat Mandapam, was attended by several notable individuals, including Director of the Culture Department Vivek Acharya, Rahul Bhagat, Shruti Singh, P Anbalagan, and Yugal Tiwari. The event was conducted by Anuradha Dubey and was attended by artists and dignitaries from across the country.
