Collector Singh reviews ongoing group water supply projects under Jal Jeevan Mission

A review meeting of the ongoing group water supply projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission was held on Friday in the Collectorate meeting hall, chaired by Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh. During the meeting, officials informed that two group water supply projects in the district Kerwa Group Water Project, covering 74 Gram Panchayats, and Halali Group Water Project, covering 36 villages—are progressing at a rapid pace. These projects will provide clean drinking water to approximately 2 lakh residents. So far, 70% of the work on these projects has been completed.
Collector Singh instructed the CEO of the District Panchayat to inspect the group water supply projects and directed the SDM to visit the benefiting villages to monitor the single water supply projects. He also emphasized meeting with local representatives to ensure the progress and quality of the projects. Furthermore, he instructed the officials to complete the work with high quality and within the stipulated time frame.
