National conference on ‘Psychosocial Aspects of Visual and Performing Art’ concludes

Addressing the fourth technical session during concluding day of two-day national conference, Kumar Jaskia from Vadodara, elaborated on conscious and unconscious of human mind and various information received by the brain, effect on the senses etc. Marking 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, two-day national conference was organised on ‘Psychosocial Aspects of Visual and Performing Art’ at Government Fine Arts College under the joint banner of Government Lalit Kala Mahavidyalaya and Shakti Mahakaushal and sponsored by MP Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal. Later, fifth session was addressed by Govind Vishwas, who provided detailed information about different types of scholarships available to students and teachers in the field of fine arts.
 
 
Adeline Ibrahim and Dr Meena Gupta were on the stage. During sixth session, Rajesh Eknath Patil from Pune, explained the impact of modern visual and landscape art on Indian painting. Along with this, detailed information was provided on various aspects of painting. During the closing session, the conference report was presented and opinion related to the conference experience were expressed by teachers and students. In the same sequence, a souvenir made of colourful painting pictures related to Devi Ahilyabai Holkar was also released. Dr Ajay Gupta, Chairman, Janbhagidari Samiti, organiser of the conference, Dr Ankita Bohare, National Vice President of Shakti and Principal Dr Rajlakshmi congratulated for this successful seminar. Many teachers and students from Fine Arts Institutes of Jabalpur, Gwalior, Indore, Dhar etc were present. All the technical sessions were successfully conducted by Pragyan Mriduli. The closing ceremony was conducted by Dr Apoorva Soni. Shakti Mahakaushal’s President Dr Geeta Shukla expressed her gratitude. Presence of science coordinator, Dr Mukul Tiwari, Chandraprakash Vaishya, Alka Patel, Dr Asha Srivastava, Krishna Rajput, Deepti Srivastava etc. was notable in the programme.
