Under the Cities 2.0 initiative, a two-day workshop on the theme ‘Circular Economy Industries’ was organised in Panaji, Goa. The event brought together cities selected under the Cities 1.0 and 2.0 programmes. Executive Director and Municipal Commissioner Preeti Yadav, Smart City CEO Anurag Singh, Cities 2.0 Nodal Officer Sambhav Ayachi, Assistant Nodal Officer Balendra Shukla and E-Governance Manager Gajendra Singh Bais represented Jabalpur Smart City Limited. The workshop focused on discussing various challenges and solutions in integrated waste management. Several industries and start-ups working in the domain delivered presentations, showcasing their products and innovations. Besides this, Municipal Commissioner Preeti Yadav gave a detailed presentation on Jabalpur’s current waste collection system, highlighting its framework and achievements.
