Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has said that 33 crore gods and goddesses reside in cow. Whoever rears cows is ‘Gopal’, and the house becomes Gokul. Therefore, every person and family should take initiative for cow-rearing in their house. Traditionally, people of all religions and castes in India rear cows and this is a symbol of our social harmony. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the bhoomipujan programme of a high-tech cowshed with a capacity of 10,000 cows in village Barkhedi Dob of Bhopal on Saturday. Notably, a cow-shed is going to be constructed in an area of 25 acres in village Barkhedi Dob of Bhopal district at a cost of Rs 15 crore. CM Yadav also announced to make Government School Sukhi Sewania a CM Rise School and to make Sukhi Sewania Road a four-lane road as per departmental funds. He said that employment opportunities will be provided by developing Barkhedi Dob area as an industrial area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that degree-diploma course related to Gau Mata will be started through Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University. In his address, the Chief Minister said,

 

“The importance of gaumata in Sanatan culture becomes clear from the fact that gaudaan has been said to be necessary for the completeness of human life. The importance of cow shelters is constantly increasing in the changing lifestyle. Cow rearing is helpful in providing nutritious food to the family along with economic empowerment of the families. Therefore, milk production will be encouraged by providing calves to every household”. Chief Minister Dr Yadav emphasised that the State Government is soon making arrangements to give bonus on milk production. At present, Madhya Pradesh contributes 9 per cent to the total milk production of the country. The target is to take it to 20 per cent in the next five years. According to officials, in this, along with modern maintenance of cows, a medical ward equipped with all the resources for their treatment will also be constructed. The Gaushala will be constructed by the Rural Engineering Department at a cost of about Rs 15 crore. The Gaushala will be financed by the Smart City Project and the District Panchayat. The Gaushala will be constructed in 3 phases. A medical ward is also being built for the treatment of animals living in the Gaushala and animals getting injured and sick on the roads.
