Raipur, Chhattisgarh’s Agriculture Minister, Ramvichar Netam, who on Friday night sustained serious injuries in a road accident, was discharged from hospital on Saturday after making a steady recovery. The minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to well-wishers through a post on X, saying, “By the grace of Maa Mahamaya and your prayers, I am safe. I am deeply thankful for your love and support.”
The accident occurred last Friday on the Raipur-Bemetara road near Jevra village. Minister Netam was returning to Raipur via the Kawardha-Bemetara route when his car collided with a pickup vehicle. The impact was so severe that the minister’s car was extensively damaged.
In critical condition, Minister Netam was rushed to a private hospital in Raipur’s Pachpedi Naka area.
A green corridor was created to ensure his swift transportation to the hospital, allowing the ambulance to bypass traffic and reach the facility in record time. Following treatment, his
condition stabilised, and he was discharged the following day.
