Union Minister for Road Transport Nitin Gadkari, on Tuesday, said that Jyeshtha Nagrik Mandals should work for the welfare of senior citizens of the city and the government is always there to help such organisations. Gadkari made this statement during the State-level conference of Jyeshtha Nagrik Pratishthan on Tuesday in city. Datta Meghe presided over the conference. In the conference, 16 district co-ordinators and 27 taluka co-ordinators and other senior members attended the programme. Ashok Mankar, Gauri Chandrayan, Dr Sanjay Ugemuge, Nanasaheb Samarth, Avinash Ghushe and others were present. Dr Raju Mishra conducted the proceedings and proposed a vote of thanks.
