Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao criticised the Congress Government, claiming that no recruitments were made during their tenure, only scams under the guise of recruitment. He reassured that the BJP Government’s approach is clear, as evidenced by numerous recruitment advertisements aimed at providing Government job opportunities to the youth. Although a stay has been issued by the High Court on constable recruitment, Sao assured that the Government would present its side in court and proceed as per the ruling. On the education front, Sao announced plans to implement a centralised examination system for students in classes 5th to 8th. He stressed that this system would raise the standard of education, create a more conducive environment for learning, and reduce the drop-out rate in Chhattisgarh. Sao also provided an update on the urban body elections, stating that preparations are in the final stages.

The Election Commission is currently updating the voter list, and the necessary government actions are nearing completion. Additionally, he mentioned that the Government is carefully reviewing the report from the Backward Classes Commission on the reservation issue, with a decision expected within the next week. In response to former Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo’s appreciation for the release of Rs 108 crore to Ambikapur Medical College, Sao highlighted the BJP Government’s commitment to improving healthcare facilities in the state. He recalled that under Singhdeo’s tenure as Health Minister, the health system was in poor condition, but now, the government is focused on providing better services, prompting gratitude from Singhdeo. The Deputy Chief Minister asserted that the BJP government is dedicated to improving the welfare of Chhattisgarh’s citizens across multiple sectors.
