OPENER-STUMPER Vaibhav Chouksey hit an unbeaten century as All India Reporter thumped Eleven Star Cricket Club by 95 runs in Guzder League A Division T20 Tournament on Wednesday. Chouksey (102*; 65b, 10x4, 3x6) and Pushpak Gujar (53; 18b, 5x4, 4x6) were the major contributors as AIR made 215-6. In reply, Eleven Star could reach 120-9 with Saurabh Dubey snaring four wickets giving away just ten from his quota of four overs. Skipper Kshitiz Dahiya and Gujar chipped in with a couple of wickets each. Medical Representative Cricket Club’s Apoorv Wankhade’s brilliant knock (87; 33b, 6x4, 8x6) was overshadowed by Anurag Cricket Club Kamptee’s Abhishek Pathak, who hammered 92 from 28 balls hitting 12 sixes and four fours to guide his team to five-wicket win. MRCC made 177-9 in 20 overs while Pathak’s belligerence helped Anurag shoot down the target in just 12.2 overs.

 

Anurag’s Salim Khan and MRCC’s Arjun Ingle picked three wickets apiece. Reshimbagh Gymkhana came out with an all-round show to drub Lipton Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Lipton made 121-8 with Reshimbagh’s Aaditya Khilote (3-19) and Sandesh Durugwar (3-16) bowling well. Prateek Yadav (48; 15b, 4x4, 5x6) scored at a strike rate of 320 and Kedar Jagtap made 43 from 22 balls with seven fours and a six as Reshimbagh raced to the target in mere 7.5 overs losing just one wicket.
