Nearly 200 young athletes from over 5 districts of the Jabalpur Division, competing in various age categories including Under 14, 17 and 19 years, for both boys and girls, took part in the divisional-level Shooting Competition organised recently. A total of 54 participants were awarded medals for their outstanding performances. Among the medalists, 10 talented students including Navya Goswami, Pragya Patel, Chaitanya Veer Dubey, Anaya Jain, Aanya Tripathi, Abhisidhya Patel, Aayush Singh Gaur, Divyansh Soni, Sneha Chourasiya and Janvi Jaju qualified for the upcoming state-level shooting competition.

 

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by guests including Paralympic Bronze medalist Simran Sharma's guide and renowned athlete Abhay Singh along with Sushma Singh. Other dignitaries present were District Sports Officer Jabalpur Madhumita Hajra, Director of Sports Department Jabalpur Asha Sisodhiya, Sports Incharges (DEO Office), Jabalpur, Sarika Singh and Chandrashekhar Swami. Parv Jaiswal, Supriya Jaiswal and Manmeet Kohli were also present at the ceremony.
