The 115th meeting of Board of Directors of MP Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd (MPPKVVCL) was held at the Corporate Office Shakti Bhawan, on Friday. The meeting was attended by several senior officials, including Chairman of Distribution Companies, Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) and MD, MP Power Management Company Ltd., Anay Dwivedi, MD, MPPKVVCL and Professor Shailja Shukla, from Jabalpur Engineering College. The meeting was also joined through video conferencing by Rajiv Ranjan Meena, Deputy Secretary, MP Government, Virendra Bhardwaj, Chairperson, Energy Department, Bhopal and Narendra Nath Mishra, former Director (Operations), NTPC.
The meeting commenced with
a discussion on ongoing development projects in the company.
The board also reviewed actions taken following previous board meeting. During the meeting, Chairman Manu Srivastava directed officials to ensure that electricity consumers receive high-quality power supply and that their grievances are addressed promptly with minimum delay. He also emphasised that future meetings should include a review of revenue generation.
A major proposal approved during the meeting was to offer a 3-level pay scale to employees in equivalent positions under the company’s cadre. The proposal for appointing the Chief Financial Officer as Managerial Personnel was also approved. MD Anay Dwivedi, briefed the board on the progress of RDSS (Reforms-based Distribution Sector Scheme) projects being implemented within the company.
The meeting was attended by key executives such as Nita Rathore, CGM-Operations, S K Bhagwatkar, CGM-Corporate Affairs, Ashok Singh Dhurve, CGM-Commercial, Vikram Bhaskar, Chief Financial Officer and Ajay Duggar, GM-RDSS.
The meeting was chaired by Lalit Mohan Sharma, Company Secretary.
