THE Sikh community of Nagpur celebrated the return of Devendra Fadnavis
as Chief Minister of Maharashtra with
great enthusiasm and joy here in the city
recently. Office-bearers of the city unit of
the party and BJP leaders were also present. The celebrations took place at the
Vaishali Nagar office of the Bharatiya Janata
Party (BJP), where Sikh leaders and BJP
leaders and workers gathered in a spirited display of unity and festivity.
Arunpal Singh Behal, General Secretary
of the Maharashtra Minority Morcha (BJP),
spearheaded the event.
The joyous occasion was marked by the distribution of
sweets, the beats of traditional ‘dhol’, and
vibrant fireworks, reflecting the community’s excitement. Behal said, “The people of Maharashtra wanted Devendra
Fadnavis to return as Chief Minister for
the overall development and progress of
the state.” Supporting this sentiment,
Gurmeet Singh , one of the noted Sikh businessmen stated, “The Sikh community
enjoys a warm and cordial relationship with
Devendra Fadnavis. Under his leadership,
