Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House, New Delhi on Tuesday. He extended a formal invitation for Global Investors Summit (GIS) to be held in Bhopal in February 2025 and foundation stone laying of Ken-Betwa River Linking Project. Chief Minister Dr Yadav apprised Prime Minister Modi about works done by the State Government in one year and sought guidance. Dr Yadav informed that the State Government is starting two important programmes from December 11, 2024, on completion of one year of its tenure.
 
The first programme Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan Parv will be organised from December 11 to 26, 2024. It will be based on overall development of the State and public interest. The second programme, Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan Abhiyan will run from December 11, to January 26, 2025. Main objective of this campaign is to achieve target of 100% saturation in the schemes identified for empowerment and welfare of four main pillars of development youth, women, farmers and poor. In this campaign, problems of applicants related to Government services will also be resolved.
