OM DHOTRE and Aarav Chaurasia wreaked havoc taking five wickets each in the first innings as they escorted Vidarbha closer to an innings victory over J&K in their U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy Group League match at CP Ground, Mulapadu, Andhra on Thursday.
At the close of play on Day 2 of the three-day match, J&K were 107-5 in their second innings after following on. Vidarbha had earlier shot out J&K for just 56 runs in their first innings and enforced the follow-on. Om Dhotre (5-11) and Aarav Chaurasia 5-12) shared the spoils.
J&K fared marginally better in their second innings but were looking down the barrel after losing half their side for 107 runs. They are still 246 runs behind with five wickets and one whole day's play remaining.
