A shocking video of a constable in Raipur has sparked outrage on social media, showing an on-duty police officer fraternising with a monitored criminal during a birthday celebration. The video, widely circulated online, has drawn severe criticism against the Raipur Police Department. The incident occurred in the Moudhapara police station area. The criminal, identified as Sahil Raksel, a monitored offender in the locality, is seen cutting a cake with a knife and feeding it to constable Nazir Khan, who attended the gathering in full police uniform. The video further shows the constable hugging and kissing the criminal on the cheek, with Raksel dancing in front of the officer while brandishing the knife.

The video, shared from an account reportedly belonging to Sahil Raksel, appears to have been deliberately recorded to tarnish the police’s image and create fear among the public. The brazen act raises questions about the integrity of police personnel and the consequences of their association with criminals. The video has sparked widespread anger, with many questioning how law enforcement can maintain order if its members socialise with criminals. Citizens have taken to social media to demand strict action against the constable involved, emphasising that such incidents undermine public trust in the police force. The Raipur Police Department is under heavy criticism as calls for disciplinary action against Nazir Khan grow louder. The incident highlights a pressing need for accountability within the police force to ensure that such behavior does not recur. Higher officials are expected to take a strong stance to restore faith in law enforcement.
