Ex-State Editor of ‘The Hitavada’ Anshuman Bhargava remembered on 51st birth anniv

Picture of late Anshuman Bhargava was installed in the photo gallery built in the memory of Dr J S Murthy, former Professor of the Department. HoD Dr Pathak said that late Anshuman Bhargava was known for his outstanding coverage of Madhya Pradesh politics, Wildlife, Crime and all other sectors.
 
The Department of Communication Studies and Research (Journalism), Rani Durgavati University hosted a programme to offer rich tributes to State Editor of ‘The Hitavada’, late Anshuman Bhargava on his 51st birth anniversary on Wednesday. Head of Communication Department Dr Dhirendra Pathak along with other faculty members of the department, garlanded the picture of late Bhargava and observed two minute silence. Addressing the journalism students, HoD Dr Pathak said that late Anshuman Bhargava was known for his outstanding coverage of Madhya Pradesh politics, Wildlife, Crime and all other sectors.
 
He will always be remembered as a legendary Editor whose work stood out for its perceptiveness and integrity, and the way in which he delivered hard truths with great ease without being baised. Dr. Pathak added that above all his achievements and efforts, he was basically a wonderful and generous human being who had only kind words and boundless time for anyone who met him. He kept alive the values of truth and public interest in journalism. Others who attended the programme to offer their tribute included Dr. Mohammed Javed, Dr. Sanjeev Shrivastava, Dr. Shailesh Prasad, Dr. Pramod Pandey, Dr. Mohnika Gajabiye, Rajesh Dubey from Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh and students from B.J.C, M.J.C., B.A.Mc. and M.A.Mc.
