DEEPENDRA Singh Kushwah, Development Commissioner (Industries) onWednesday visited the office of Vidarbha IndustriesAssociation(VIA)here in Civil Lines. On the occasion, VIAmembers submittedamemorandumandsuggestions for the new industrial policy which is likely to be announced shortly. The prominent suggestions include:- the removal of anomaly which exist between MSME and MEGA projectinPSI2019and discourage MSME to expand; to offersubsidytooffsethigherlogistic costs for export; to consider the cost of renewable energy investment for captive power as eligible for all incentives under PSI, andlowerlimit formega status for Vidarbha among others. At the outset, Prashant Mohta welcomed Kushwah. Rakesh Surana proposed vote of thanks. Pravin Tapadia, Rohit Bajaj, Omprakash Bagdia, Rashmi Kulkarni, Gajendra Bharti JDI, S S Muddamwar, GMDIC, and others were also present.
