A shocking incident of molestation and forced apology has come to light in the MIDC Police Station area. A woman was allegedly molested and then compelled to prostrate before her attacker. The entire incident was captured on video and shared widely on social media. MIDC police have arrested three persons in this connection and secured their two-days police custody remand. Based on the complaint filed by a 44-year-old woman, the MIDC police have registered a case and arrested three persons: Rajesh Mishra, Vikas Borkar, and Pankaj Barekar. According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening around 9 pm at a petrol pump in Zone Square. The victim encountered Vikas at the petrol pump when he verbally abused a stray dog.

 

The woman questioned Vikas for abusing the animal, she was abused and molested by him. Vikas later returned to the petrol pump with Rajesh Mishra and other associates. He issued a chilling threat to the woman and demanded that she prostrate before him as an apology or face dire consequences. The woman was forced to comply with the demand. Rajesh’s accomplice recorded this harrowing scene on their mobile phone. When the woman snatched the phone, the accused pushed her to the ground and she sustained injuries on her head during the process. The woman contacted the police control room and a police team was immediately dispatched to the scene. The three accused were arrested by the police. Rajesh Mishra is reportedly involved in property dealing, while Vikas Borkar is self-employed. Pankaj Barekar operates a fish fry stall. Rajesh Mishra is known to dominate the area.
