Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers play an important role in creating a unique image of a vast and diverse country like India in the world. Today, India has a distinct identity and the country is viewed with respect. The nature of the Indian Administrative Service is different from the other services. It is through hard work and luck that a person gets the opportunity to serve the public through the Indian Administrative Service. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Civil Service Meet-2024 organised by the Madhya Pradesh IAS Officers
Association at the Academy of Administration. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was welcomed with the presentation of Angavastram. Chief Secretary Anurag Jain presented the symbol to Chief Minister Dr Yadav.
Officials make history only by taking decisions efficiently: Referring to the mythological context, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that it is best to utilise one’s fame in public interest. Indian Administrative Service officers are capable of bringing positive changes in the lives of people and bringing order to the systems. Such initiatives taken at the individual level provide happiness and satisfaction. According to Prime Minister Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officers make history only with their efficiency and wise decisions along with better opportunities and better implementation.
Efficiency of IAS officers in implementing decisions is praiseworthy: Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the legislature, judiciary, and executive have different responsibilities in running the system. Their discharge also has its own expertise. All these institutions have contributed at their respective levels to maintaining democracy. He said that making a decision or giving an idea is easy, but its implementation on a larger scale is challenging.
The efficiency of Indian Administrative Service officers in implementing decisions is praiseworthy.
Contribute to the country’s progress and public welfare even post-retirement: Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the brainstorming of the Civil Service Meet will be helpful in building a new Madhya Pradesh of the new era. Consideration should be given to structuring an institution to share the long experiences of administrative officers. This will provide a platform to exchange ideas with people from different fields and contrib

Indian systems are setting examples as the world’s largest democracy in the world in which the contribution of Indian Administrative Service officers is important. Service meets helps foster team spirit and be innovative. Association President Mohammad Suleman said that he always receives guidance from Chief Minister Dr Yadav as head of the family. The three-day service meet provides an opportunity to the association members to develop team spirit, be innovative, and prepare themselves to deliver better results. India’s G20 Sherpa and former Chairman of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant was also present.
