To include the people deprived of the benefits of the welfare schemes and services of the government, Bhopal Municipal Corporation is organising camps at various places under Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Abhiyan. In this series, a camp was organised in Zone No. 01 where people in large number took part.
Along with Director of DARPG, Government of India, S K Pandey, Corporation officials including Additional Commissioner Devendra Singh Chauhan, Member of Mayor Council Rajesh Hingorani, Assistant Commissioner Ekta Agarwal, Councilor Ashok Maran were present in the camp.
Under the Jan Kalyan Abhiyan, a camp was organised in Sant Hirdaram Nagar on Friday. In the camp, applicants of ward number 03, 04 and 05 under zone number 01 submitted applications to avail the benefits of various pension and other public welfare schemes run by the Central and State Government.
Teams were formed to provide information about the facilities being provided by the government to provide benefits to the people deprived of the benefits of various government schemes. The 6-member team formed for each ward gave information to the deprived citizens about the Chief Minister Jankalyan Abhiyan and the camps. 7 counters of each scheme were set up in the camp and 1 computer operator will be at every counter who kept on entering the received applications immediately and providing receipts to the concerned persons. In this regard announcements are also being made. The camp organised in zone number 01 was visited by S K Pandey, Director, DARPG, Government of India. He lauded arrangements made by BMC and working system in the camp.
