Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav-2024 ends on a high 
 
A rocking performance by Jubin Nautiyal drove the city’s youth into frenzy on last day of the ‘Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsava - 2024’. The cultural extragavanza that started on December 13 featured various musical, spiritual, and cultural programmes everyday. The performance of Jubin Nautiyal, was added to the festival after the start of the festival and received huge response to end this year’s edition of the festival on a high. The youths were seen queuing up for entry on last day from as early as 12 noon at Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Krida Square. At the outset, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways; Kanchan Gadkari, President, Sanskar Bharati; and Adv Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Balasaheb Kulkarni and Renuka Deshkar conducted the proceedings.
 
At the outset, the concluding programme started with performance of ‘Gajvakra’ dholtasha band. It was followed by performance of ‘Shiv Navyug’, country’s first children’s ‘dholtasha and dhwaj pathak’. Nitin Gadkari, who has conceptualised the festival, expressed his happiness on the success of the programme. He said, “The huge turnout of the audience during morning and evening sessions have made the festival a success. The festival has also set two unprecedented world records.” The Union Minister also felicitated the members of organising committee who contributed to the success of the programme. These include Prof Anil Sole, President, Khasdar Organising Committee; Dr Gaurishankar Parashar, Vice President; Ashok Mankar; Dilip Jadhav; Dr Dipak Khirwadkar; Jaiprakash Gupta, Secretary; Prof Rajesh Bagdi, Treasurer; Balasaheb Kulkarni, Haji Abdul Quadir, Sarang Gadkari, Avinash Ghushe and other members of the organising committee.
