PM Modi is ‘Bhagirath’ of modern era: CM Yadav

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ‘Bhagirath’ of modern era for MP State. Due to hard ‘tapasya’ of King Bhagirath, Ganga river desended to earth and gave new life to mankind. Sameway PM Narendra Modi has ushsred nation into a new era. Due to positive attitude and efforts in last 10-12 years situation have changed completely. The tenure of PM Narendra Modi is glowing example of it. He stated that Bundelkhand was land of brave heroes but has always been affected by severe drought. Earlier government never gave importance to development of Bundelkhand. Former PM Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has seen the dream of making this area drought free. PM Modi has realised this dream. This project would arrange drinking water and irrigation in Chambal, Malwa, entire Bundelkhand region. CM Dr Yadav stated that PM Modi had visited Bundelkhand thrice and he understood the plight of locals and thus gave greatest gift to local.
 
This day would be celebrated by locals like Holi, Diwali festival. CM Dr Yadav said that under leadership of PM Narendra Modi, all step for good governance are being taken. Along with giving due attention towards welfare of poors, young, PM Modi has flourished democracy also. PM Narendra Modi in eight days sanctioned two big river projects and gave message that natural resources should be for betterment of state and not to fulfil vested interest. He said that Former PM Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee was native of Gwalior and on his 100th birth anniversary PM Modi has arrived in state with great gifts for people. He informed that in next five year more ten 2.5 lakh post would be filled in government services in state. Dr Yadav noted that these initiatives would mark a new era of development in the state, especially in water management, clean energy, and irrigation. He added that the benefits would be particularly evident in Bundelkhand and other drought-prone areas.
 
Dr Yadav also discussed the state government’s efforts to provide employment opportunities and improve education and welfare for marginalized communities. He highlighted that Madhya Pradesh had received over 4 lakh crore rupees worth of industrial investment proposals, which are expected to generate local jobs in the coming years. Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Madhya Pradesh is a milestone in the State’s development journey. With the launch of the Ken-Betwa River Link and the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Power Project, Madhya Pradesh is set to become a model for sustainable water management, renewable energy, and economic growth.
 
These projects are poised to transform the state, fulfilling Atal Behari Vajpayee’s vision and securing a prosperous future for its people, particularly in the water-scarce Bundelkhand region. During the ceremony, the Prime Minister termed the day as an inspirational one on the occasion of birth centenary of Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpayee as it marked festival of good governance and good service serving as an inspiration to all of us. Remembering former PM Vajpayee while releasing the commemorative stamp and coin, PM said that Shri Vajpayee had nurtured and mentored many foot soldiers like him over the years.
