Tourists will now be able to enjoy jet ski and other water games throughout the year at Machagora Dam in Chhindwara. The Chhindwara district administration has given permission for this. There will be special arrangements for entertainment and local food for tourists here. In fact, a sports festival was organised in Machagora from December 20 to 25. However, due to good response, this period has now been extended, now water sports will be organised here continuously. Nodal officer of the Culture Council Balram Rajput said that on the instructions of Collector, Sheelendra Singh and CEO, Agrim Kumar, the period of the District Archaeology, Tourism and Water Festival has been extended. Tourists can enjoy the fair till the first week of January. Along with this, all the tourists have been informed that the Machagora Boat Club is completely permanent. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has allowed other adventure activities including boating here. All activities like banana boat, paddle boat, motor boat, jet ski will continue throughout the year at the Machagora Boat Club. Tourism Manager, Girish Lalwani said that a tent city has been set up in the water area to ensure proper arrangements for the night stay of tourists. Along with this, arrangements have been made for entertainment and food for the tourists along with a fair on the New Year. The New Year package is available for tourists at very affordable prices. The students charmed the audience by presenting one dance and song after another. Collector, Singh, CEO of District Panchayat, Kumar, Chourai SDOP, Saurabh Tiwari, SDM, Prabhat Mishra, CEO of Janpad Panchayat, Tarun Rahangdale, who were present in the programme, encouraged the students.
