The members of Punjab Education Society Ranjhi have welcomed the decision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas on December 26.
By taking a special initiative on his call, this special day was celebrated by honouring the Divyang students and their guardians in sub-urban Ranjhi area. The students and their guardians were honoured in presence of IPS Additional Superintendent of Police, Anand Kaladgi as chief guest.
ASP, Kaladgi appreciated the event and mentioned it a medium to encourage unity, integrity and disabled students in the society. He also shed light on the life span of many such disabled persons established in high positions and inspired many such children to achieve high positions in their future.
The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp, amidst the recitation of Guruvani and
Ardaas of Sarvatra Bhale by Bhai Satnam Singh.
Later, various competitions including painting, essay competition related to Veer Bal Diwas were organised and the winner participants were presented with certificates and prizes.
The event was presided over by Sardar Kuldeep Singh Alag, while Sardar Gurdeep Singh Nag, Dilip Singh Jagdev, Stree Satsang Gurdwara Ranjhi, President of Punjab Education Society Ranjhi Kamaljit Singh Titu Jaggi, Secretary Amarjit Singh Alag, Joint Secretary Damneet Singh Prince Bhasin were present as special guests. The event was organised successfully with the support of Tarandeep Singh Nanda, Hardeep Singh, Billu Jolly, Amarjit Singh Ahuja, Nanda Brothers, Principal, Shashi Rajak, Punjabi Cultural Incharge Daljit Kaur Matharu and Jaswinder Kaur Wasan. A vote of thanks was proposed by Vineeta Dwivedi and Subhashini Verma.
