Training for traffic police personnel was organised to manage traffic arrangements during failure of traffic signals in the city. As per the orders of Superintendent of Police, Sampat Upadhyay (IPS) and under the guidance of Additional SP (Traffic), Pradeep Shende, a training session was conducted for traffic officers and personnel. The training focused on managing traffic manually during situations where traffic signals are either non-functional or absent at major intersections.
The training led by DSPs, Traffic, Santosh Kumar Shukla, Baijnath Prajapati and Sangeeta Damor, took place at important squares of the city include Teen Patti, Bloom Chowk, Ghamapur Chowk and Paint Naka. Traffic police officers were taught how to guide traffic effectively using manual hand signals at these intersections to ensure smooth traffic flow when traffic lights are not operational.
