Balcony of the old building of Government-run Hamidia Hospital on Tuesday collapsed in Bhopal. Fortunately, there were no casualty reported but three bikes were damaged. The dilapidated balcony crumbled and fell on the vehicles parked below. The balcony was situated between old OPD block and trauma building. Incident was reported around 1 pm, 48 hours after a false ceiling of emergency ward of new building caved in the hospital. Such incident is creating a panic among the doctors, staffs and patients.
 
According to the staff present on location, during afternoon hours they heard a thud sound that created panic among the people standing in parking and nearby locations. When people turned to see, bikes were damaged and the balcony was lying on floor. A day before on Sunday-Monday late night, false ceiling of emergency ward collapsed in the same hospital. The ceiling collapsed in ward of Paediatrics and Neonatology Department at Kamla Raja Women’s and Children’s Hospital building. At the time of incident, dozens of new-born were admitted to the ICU.
