SHIVRAJ Singh Chouhan, Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare & Rural Development, and the President of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research visited ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT ), Mumbai recently to review the ongoing research and development programmes. Earlier, Dr S K Shukla, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai welcomed the minister and presented the overall achievements of the institute. A booklet on “Glimpses of ICAR-CIRCOT 2024” was also released on this occasion.

 

Dr K Narsaiah, Assistant Director General (Process Engineering), ICAR, New Delhi briefed about the contribution of ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai. Dr C N Ravishankar, Director, ICARCIFE, Mumbai and Dr P L Patil, Vice Chancellor, UAS, Dharward and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
