The staff of Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and volunteers of Oxyzone have planted saplings as part of Ek Pedh Maa campaign in different parts of steel city. The members of organisations have invited personalities of different section in society and plant sapling with an oath to take care of it as like their own mother. The members of Oxyzone are planning to make entire city as green city and in this noble cause, BMC is also supporting the organisation. One of the members of Oxyzone, Hemant Kumar informed that they visit every housing society and motivate people to plant saplings.

 

After sapling, people are taking promise to protect the sapling and for its protection, tree guard has also been installed. Most of the members of organisation are college student and working professionals and every Sunday, they visit different colonies to plant saplings. Industrialist Subhash Gulati informed that tree gives oxygen to living beings and so it is necessary to plant saplings and protect them. On this occasion, Tuleshwar Sahu, K K Singh, Ajay Shukla from civic body and members of organisation were present.
