DEPUTY Director General in Union Ministry of Coal Santosh was on two-day official visit to WesternCoalfieldsLimited.On her firstdayof the visit,Santosh visited the Wani area where sheinspectedsomeof the facilities and gave suggestions. AjayMhetre,ChiefVigilance Officer; Abhaschandra Singh General Manager, WCL Wani Area; and other senior officers of thecompanywerealsopresent on the occasion. On the second day, Santosh conducteda reviewmeeting at WCL headquarters here in the city and reviewed the company’s target achievementplans, CSR activities and also discussed vigilance relatedissues.

 

Chairman and Managing Director of WCL Jai Prakash Dwivedi gave details of the company’s activities andhighlighted various initiatives. Santosh expressed confidence in the company’s plans and said WCL will achieve all its set targets. Earlier, Santosh also interacted with a group of students participating in the project ‘TARASH’ (Talent Amplification of Rural Youth through Aggressive SkillHunt).Apart from this, the Deputy Director General also inspected the recently commissioned Integrated CommandAndControlCentre for e-surveillance (ICCC) at WCL headquarters.
