TEAM President emerged winners while Government Medical College (GMC) finished runners-up in the inaugural edition of Vidarbha-level Box Cricket Tournament that was organised by Vidarbha Association of Pathologists & Microbiologist (VAPM). In the five-team event that comprised players from Amravati, Gondia, Hinganghat apart from Nagpur, Team President pipped GMC in the final.

 

Dr Tanvir was adjudged Player of the Tournament while Dr Sagar Yelne was named Man of the Final. Dr Disha and Dr Mukesh Barange were declared as the best fielders. The duo of Dr Marawar and Dr Pratibha received the award for best bowlers. Dr Fatima and Dr Arun were adjudged as the best female and male batters. Prizes were distributed at the hands of IMA President Dr Manjusha Giri and Chhatrapati Award winner Bhute. VAPM President Dr Manisha Mishra, Secretary Dr Komal Deshmukh and Dr Sanjay Deotale were prominently present on the occasion.
