Among 68 airports, Bhopal records highest growth of passengers

City’s Raja Bhoj airport is becoming center of attraction with rising number of passengers and higher aircraft movement. The airport authority claimed that in comparison to 68 democratic airports, Raja Bhoj airport is growing at a faster pace. Month of May recorded 44,926 passengers more than the month of April at the airport. If we talk about aircraft movement, month of May recorded 492 movement more than month of April. This would also giving a path to new airline companies for introducing their services with destination flights from Bhopal. Airport management said that they are also making effort to make better arrangement for passengers in conveyer belt in departure and arrival area so that passenger get their luggage easily. Currently, Raja Bhoj airport has three conveyer belt and people receives their luggage in arrival area within twenty minutes.
 
The Airport Director, Ramji Awasthy said, “Effort is being made to provide best services to the passengers and airline companies. In future more flights will be introduced with direct connection to the cities.” In passenger satisfaction survey being held at 68 airports for past two times, Raja Bhoj Airport remain on first position. There are many facilities being provided to the passengers that is also attracting the airline companies as well passengers. On an average, everyday around 36 flights taking off at the airport with direct connection to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Udaipur, Prayagraj, Raipur, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad.
