If all goes well, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) will soon have team of new members. As the list probable candidates have been sent to the high command. As against the earlier, this time center has asked to form the team after having consent from various power centers of the organisation. Seeking approval from high command, Pradesh Congress Committee has sent list of candidates to be appointed at state-level .
 
Notably, after defeat in Assembly elections, party replaced senior Congress leader Kamal Nath with Jitu Patwari. Giving a message to bring the party at the helm of younger leader. In upcoming appointments too it is learnt that more new faces will be inducted. All is not well in the organisation: After facing election rout, it seems the slew of trouble is ending soon in the grand old party at state level. In a recent incident, the altercation between two Congress women surfaced in public. On other side, demand to change state leadership is also gaining ground. a section of party workers feel that under the leadership of Jitu Patwari the organisation has faced humiliating defeat in Lok Sabha elections. Why there is no change in president ship at state level. On condition of anonymity, senior Congress leader told ‘The Hitavada’ that there is no question of change of State President. Patwari is known to be close to Rahul Gandhi.
 
He has backing from center. As far as Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha elections were concern, he was appointed just a few months ago. In fact, the State Congress is going to make more new appointments at district level. In Malwa regions itself from where Jitu Patwari hails, people expressed their reservation. Other senior leaders like Sajjain Singh Verma and Vijaylaxmi Sadho are not being so active now-a-days. In Ujjain and nearby Sanwar area, it seems that there is no opposition. After victory of Tulsi Silwat, a staunch supporter of Jyotiraditya Scindia, several developmental projects are going on. that has garnered people’s support. Congress’s former member Premchand Guddu is now in loop line. His daughter contested elections but after defeat she is nowhere in the field. Senior leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh are making visits at various districts. Exit of Ram Niwas Rawat has already gave a set back to the party in Gwalior Chambal Region, party is in search of new OBC face in this belt but due to internal tussle, decision has not been taken so far. Notably, heated argument between National President of Mahila Congress and a office-bearers drew flak from various corners.
