In lieu of the new criminal laws introduced by the Central Government recently, an awareness programme was held in the auditorium of Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education. It was jointly organised by Nagpur Police Zone IV along with Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Betiya Shakti Foundation, and Click to Cloud Women’s Sporting Club. The event was attended by a large crowd including students preparing for general civil and competitive exams, and other citizens as well. Vijaykant Sagar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nagpur, addressed the audience to raise awareness about the implementation of of these new laws.

 

The event saw the presence of Anil Taksande, Senior Police Inspector; Dr Sharda Naidu, Principal of Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education; Arvind Pathak, Foundation Guide at Betiya Shakti Foundation; Chandrashekhar Mahadik, Subedar Major Vijay Malewar, Prabhakar Akotkar, former serviceman, along with Vinod Shirpurkar, Naib Subedar Amol Raut, Nilesh Vyas, Amarsingh Bawankar, Laxman Gomase, Sanjay Savansukha, and Samita Wahane. Shridhar Ade conducted the function. Atul Wankhede delivered the vote of thanks. Madhukar Toole, Rajesh Alone, Pranay Vaidya, Mayur Rathod, Harshal Malewar, Munna Bhondale, and Ashish Gadge contributed to the success of the programme.
