A girl attacked a youth with a knife at Hotel Silver Nest located on Ghat Road under the jurisdiction of Ganeshpeth Police Station area on Friday. The youth ran away from the hotel without clothes to save his life, police said. The police have registered a case of attempted murder against the girl and a case of rape against the youth. According to the police, the injured Aniket Ashok Dedge (27) is a resident of Rambagh Colony. He works in his brother’s hotel. A friend had given him the mobile number of a 19-year-old girl from Chandrapur district, with whom he was roaming for the past three days. On Thursday night, he picked the girl from Medical Square and they went to Futala area on a two-wheeler.

 

The duo consumed alcohol near the lake and also smoked cigarettes untill 2 am. Soon after, they went to Hotel Silver Nest situated on Ghat Road. After physical relations with the girl, Aniket went out for a while. He returned with a bottle of cold drink and Mephedrone (MD) drug early morning. The police officials said that the youth gave Rs 1,000 to the girl, while she demanded Rs 5,000. A quarrel broke out between them, and the girl took out a knife from her bag and attacked Aniket. As Aniket was not wearing clothes, he ran from the spot to save himself. After receiving the information, Ganeshpeth Police reached the spot and both were brought to the police station. During questioning, Aniket told the police that the girl is a call girl, while the girl says that she has come to Nagpur to prepare for NEET. Due to the allegations and counter-allegations, the police have registered cross-complaints.
