The Monsoon Session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly beginning at 11 am on Monday will have a total of five sittings held from July 22 to 26. The first Supplementation Budget for 2024-25 will be tabled in the House. Discussions on demand for grants for the first supplementary budget will be held in the House during the monsoon session. Question hour, zero hour and Government businesses will be transacted and several bills will be passed in the House during the Monsoon Session. During the Monsoon session, the main Opposition Congress is expected to address several issues in the House, including the poor law and order situation, Baloda Bazar arson incident, Bemetara bomb blast, and the scarcity of seeds and fertilizers, among others.
