Para shooters sharpen skills at preparatory camp organised by NRAI 
 
To make shooters hit the bulls eye in the Para Olympics which are slated to take place on August 28, the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) is organising the Para Olympics preparatory camp at State's shooting academy. This 7-day pre-departure training camp that commenced on July 21 and will conclude on July 27 is being organised for the Para-Shooters who made their Olympic cut and will represent the nation at Para-Olympics.
 
According to the information, 8 marksmen and markswomen will be mustering their forces at the camp to clinch medallion in Para Olympics. India's golden girl Avani Lekhara who stamped her class in Tokyo Para Olympics and claimed the gold will be zeroing in on the bulls eye in 10M Air Rifle Standing Women SH1 category, 10 M Air rifle Prone Mixed SH1 category, 50 M Rifle 3 positions women SH1 category in the preparatory camp. Mona Agarwal after clinching gold medal in women's 10 M Air Rifle SH1 category at the World Shooting Para Sports (WSPS) Para Shooting World Cup secured her Paris Olympics quota. The Para Shooter will be competing in the 10 M Air Rifle Standing Women SH1 category, 50 M Rifle Prone Mixed SH1 category, and 50 M Rifle 3 positions women in SH1 category in the camp. Furthermore, bagging two silver in the WSPS Para Shooting World Cup in the 10 M air pistol SH1 category Manish Narwal will be shooting in the 10 M Air Pistol Men SH1 category.
 
Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir Amir Ahmad Bhat will hit the target in the 25M Pistol Mixed SH1 category. Silver medal winner Rudransh Khandelwal in the Para Shooting World Cup is competing in 10M Air Pistol Men and 50M Pistol Mixed both in SH1 category. 25M and 50M Pistol Mixed in SH1 category respectively will be shot by bronze medallion winner in the Para Shooting World Cup Nihal Singh in the preparatory camp. Para Shooter Rubina Francis will aim at the target in the 10M Air Pistol Women SH1 category, whereas Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar will go head to head in the 10M Air Rifle Standing Men in SH1 category in the preparatory camp. Additionally, a team of 9 staff including chief coach , pistol and rifle coach in the Para Olympics preparatory camp at state's shooting academy are helping the Para shooters to reign supreme in the Para Olympics.
