HRIDAY Ketan Garg, a 14-year-old swimmer from Bhavan’s BP Vidya Mandir, Srikrishna Nagar, demonstrated exceptional talent at the Maharashtra State 50th Junior Aquatic Championship organised by the Swimming Federation of India. The championship was held at the Deccan Gymkhana in Pune. In the competition, Garg clinched four medals. He secured a gold medal in the 200-metre breaststroke and three bronze medals in the 50-metre breaststroke, 100-metre breaststroke and 200-metre individual medley in the boys-2 category.

This remarkable achievement has earned Garg a place in the Maharashtra team at the upcoming Junior Aquatic National Championship in Bhubneshwar, Odisha, scheduled for August 2024. Garg gives the credit of his success to his parents, Dr Ketan and Dr Neha Garg, as well as the invaluable guidance of his mentors and coaches, Nitin Malwade, Roshan Choudhary, Dr Pravin Lamkhade, Yurvesh Dubey and other well-wishers.
