A twelve-member team of Central Finance Commission (CFC), led by its Chairman Arvind Panagariya will reach Raipur on the visit to State on July 10. This team will discuss with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and cabinet members and officials on various issues including financial needs, infrastructure development and economic progress of the state. The Finance Commission will also be on visit to Jagdalpur on July 12 and 13.

 

The team of the Central Finance Commission include Chairman Arvind Panagariya, Members Ajay Narayan Jha, Any George Mathew, Manoj Kumar Panda, Dr Soumya Kanti Ghosh, Secretary of the Commission Ritvik Ranjam Pandey, Joint Secretary Kamal Kumar Mishra, Joint Director Raghvendra Singh and other officers. Finance Secretary Mukesh Bansal reviewed the preparations of the Central Finance Commission’s visit at Hotel Mayfair and gave necessary directions to officials. Director of Treasury, Pensions and Account and Nodal Officer of the 16th Finance Commission Mahadev Kawre, Chief Executive Officer of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran Saurabh Kumar, Raipur Collector Dr Gaurav Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Raipur Municipal Corporation Avinash Mishra, Director of Public Relations Ajay Agrawal and senior officials of Urban Administration and Development Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation were present.
