GOVERNOR Mangubhai Patel on Tuesday administered oath to the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners of Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission at Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav was also present on this occasion. Governor Patel administered the oath of office to Vijay Yadav as Chief Information Commissioner. He also administered the oath of office to Dr Vandana Gandhi, Dr Umashankar Pachauri, and Omkar Nath as State Information Commissioners.

 

The Governor and the Chief Minister extended best wishes and congratulated the Chief Information Commissioner and Information Commissioners by presenting them bouquets. Those present in the swearing-in ceremony were Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Public Assets Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr Kunwar Vijay Shah, sports along with other members from the council of ministers and bureaucrats.
