Madhya Pradesh Association for Women Entrepreneurs (MAWE) organised a workshop focused on ‘Business Finance, Banking and Government Schemes’. DIG T K Vidyarthi was the chief guest of the event. The workshop aimed to provide women entrepreneurs with vital information on Government schemes under one roof, ensuring they could run their businesses smoothly. MAWE Chairperson Archana Bhatnagar highlighted that many women entrepreneurs miss out on benefits from government schemes due to a lack of proper information, which hampers their business growth. To address the same, MAWE regularly brings updates on government loan schemes under its policy advocacy efforts, making it easier for women entrepreneurs to access these resources.

Vineet Rajak, General Manager, District Trade and Industry Center informed women participants about government schemes relevant to women-led enterprises. A special help desk from the Investment Promotion Center was set up during the workshop to address queries from women entrepreneurs. Senior officials of various Banks were also present to explain their schemes in detail. They provided solutions to the challenges women face in securing loans, ensuring they can access the financial resources needed to expand their ventures. Present were President Bhavna Madan, Chandra Mahidhar, Usha Gupta, Monika Jolly, Priyanka Kaur, Jasmeet Kaur, Zeenat Khanum, Nazish Khan, Seema Badal and others.
