New Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Suresh Kumar Kait took charge on Thursday. Chief Justice Kait reached the High Court premises at 10 am, where he was given a guard of honour. After this, the Registrar General and other officers of the Registry welcomed him. A welcome programme was organised in Court No. 1 at 10.30 am. On the occasion, Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Advocate General Prashant Singh, MP High Court Bar Association President DK Jain, State Bar Council Chairman Radhelal Gupta, Advocates Bar Association President Anil Khare, Deputy Solicitor General Pushpendra Yadav, Senior Advocates Council President Shobha Menon addressed. After the swearing-in in Bhopal, the new Chief Justice Suresh Kumar Kait was welcomed on his arrival in the city on Wednesday night. Judges and advocates of Indore and Gwalior Bench were also present in the program in virtual mode. It is worth noting that on Wednesday in Bhopal, the Governor had administered the oath to the newly arrived Chief Justice.
