Parents claim that Renumala was upset after a dispute between him and hostel colleagues 
 
The Kamla Nagar police personnel on Tuesday initiating inquest, registered a case pertaining to the death of Renumala Shashidhar enrolled in second year of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) citing personal reasons. Though no suicide note has been recovered from the site, the investigation points that financial conditions made Renumala hailing from Telangana end his life, Police said. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Nirupa Pandey, Station In-charge of Kamla Nagar, said that the statement of the parents of the deceased have been registered and the matter is under investigation. “Parents of the deceased came to the city on Wednesday and their statements have been recorded.
 
Though they failed to furnish any requisite information pertaining to the suicide, but they claimed that Renumala was upset after a dispute between him and his other hostel mates a year ago”, Nirupa Pandey said. Further, the parents denied Renumala undergoing any mentally disturbed state. Notably, the institution claimed that the student suffered financial hurdles along with additional issues from the side of the family. Renumala Shashidhar was a resident of hostel number 9 of the institution. Additionally, the Foundation Day of MANIT that was to be celebrated on Wednesday but was called off by the authorities owing to the suicide o Renumala Shashidhar.
