The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bhopal, has released the latest weather report, highlighting the conditions observed over the past 24 hours and providing a forecast for the coming days.
 
The report indicates that rainfall was recorded at isolated locations in the Chambal division, while the rest of the state remained dry. Maximum temperatures showed no significant change across the State, though districts in Bhopal, Gwalior, Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, and Sagar divisions recorded temperatures 1.7°C to 2.4°C above normal. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures dropped notably
 
by 2.1°C in the Narmadapuram division, whereas other areas experienced stable readings. Minimum temperatures in Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Shahdol, and Sagar divisions were 2.1°C to 3.0°C above normal, and Rewa division experienced an even more pronounced increase of 4.2°C above normal. Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram) recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 9.0°C, followed by Aonwari (Ashoknagar) at 10.5°C. Other cities with low minimum temperatures included Kalyanpur (Shahdol), Rajgarh, and Mandla, all at 12.0°C, as well as Sehore at 12.3°C. On the other hand,
 
Khargone recorded the highest minimum temperature at 17.6°C, with Sidhi, Dhar, Raisen, Sagar, and Kannod (Dewas) also experiencing notably high minimum temperatures ranging from 16.6°C to 17.0°C. In terms of maximum temperatures, Pachmarhi (Narmadapuram) recorded the lowest at 26.5°C, followed by Nowgong (Chhatarpur) at 28.1°C and Amarkantak (Anuppur) at 28.5°C. The highest maximum temperature was observed in Khargone at 34.0°C, followed closely by Mandla (33.8°C) and Khandwa (33.5°C). According to IMD, the forecast for Bhopal and its surrounding areas remains stable, with clear skies expected until February 22. Wind speeds are anticipated to range between 8 to 10 km/h, with maximum and minimum temperatures predicted at 31°C and 15°C, respectively. Looking at broader weather systems, a cyclonic circulation remains active over Haryana at approximately 1.5 km above sea level, which could influence surrounding regions.
 
Additionally, a new Western Disturbance is expected to impact Northwest India from the night of February 24, potentially altering weather patterns in the coming days. Observations from Bhopal indicate that the city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.6°C in the past 24 hours, which is 1.6°C above normal. The minimum temperature stood at 15.0°C, while humidity levels were measured at 53% in the morning. No rainfall was recorded in the city. As the weather remains relatively stable, no major disturbances are expected in the immediate future. However, with an approaching Western Disturbance, some changes may be observed by February 24.
