The Special Protection Group (SPG) has been tasked with overseeing the PM’s safety, and its forces have already arrived in the city. The SPG is currently finalising a list of individuals the Prime Minister will meet during his visit, ensuring security at each location he will visit. In addition, over 500 CCTV cameras have been installed around key areas, including the Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalay (Museum) and other VIP zones, to monitor the situation closely. A three-tier security cover will be in effect for the event.

The first layer will consist of SPG commandos, the second level will include senior IPS officers, and the third will be handled by local police personnel to maintain law and order.
