Literature is the guide of society, and only those who have seen society can describe it. This is why Adi Shankaracharya was able to bring about such a big change in society. This was stated by senior litterateur Shridhar Paradkar while addressing the biennial art exhibition and Shadang honors ceremony. The program was organized by Saptavarni Kala-Sahitya Srijan Shodh Peeth, a creative institution of art and literature, at Rajaram Rupdhwani Art Gallery on Kolar Road. Senior litterateur Dr. Binay Shadangi’s travelogue Rajaram’s Yayavari and artist Sarini were released at the event. During this time, Shridhar Paradkar said that writers should step out of their rooms and see the country, because what is seen with the eyes is the only truth.

He said that this is the reason why the All India Literary Council has given great importance to travel literature. Shridhar Paradkar said that the joy of enthusiasm can be experienced in life only by being neutral. Seeing life neutrally is very important for a litterateur because such literature is timeless. On this occasion, senior litterateur Dr. Santosh Choubey said that Dr. Binay’s combination of Oriya Hindi has always attracted me. He said that he always had discussions with Prof. Rajaram about art. While discussing the travelogue, Santosh Choubey discussed various narratives and said that Amritkal Vegad’s book Soundarya Ki Nadi is a very beautiful travel narrative of Narmada. Rahul Sankrityayan’s literature is also a high-quality travel narrative, he said that it is not just tourism, but it develops the vision to see. In this sequence, Santosh Choubey said that painting should not be freed from the tradition of narration. Because how can any art develop without looking beautiful? Finally, he said that no matter how much technology may increase, it cannot destroy art.

At the same time, senior dental surgeon Dr. GD Agarwal said that he is experiencing great energy after seeing the beautiful pictures of art. In the end, Dr. Prabhudayal Mishra, President of Maharishi Agastya Vedic Sansthan, said that the harmony of form and sound is visible here in the form of pictures and paper. Only art has such power. He said that according to Shaddarshan, the harmony that is seen here related to our Sarupya is very profound. In the ceremony, Dr. Sushma Srivastava was awarded the Senior Shadang Sadhana Samman, Dr. Lakshmi Srivastava and Anita Saxena were awarded the Senior Shadang Sadhana Appreciation Award, Ashmika Vyohar, Pallavi Tonk were awarded the Junior Shadang Sanskar Samman, and Shivani Arma and Shubhra Srivastava were awarded the Junior Shadang Sadhana Appreciation Award. On this occasion, pictures were prepared by various painters on the subject of mythological narratives in Indian knowledge tradition. In these pictures, various aspects of Lord Shiva, Lord Ram and Krishna were carved on the canvas through colors. A total of 50 pictures were displayed in the exhibition.
