THE State capital Bhopal will
host Prime Minister Narendra
Modi on February 23 and 24.
After visiting Bageshwar Dham
in Chhatarpur District, PM Modi
will arrive in State capital on
Sunday where he will stay
overnight. Public representatives, office-bearers of BJP and
commoners are waiting for PM’s
visit since after assuming PM’s
office this time, it will be his
longest stay here. The Prime
Minister will first visit the quaint
village of Garha in Chhatarpur
District on Sunday where he will
lay the foundation stone of the
Bageshwar Dham Medical and
Science Research Institute at
around 2 pm.
Equipped with state-of-theart technology and expert doctors, this cancer hospital, estimated to be constructed at a cost
of over Rs 200 crore, will provide
treatment free of cost to underprivileged cancer patients.
PM Modi will arrive at Bhopal’s
Raja Bhoj Airport in the afternoon
the same day. This will be the first
time PM Modi will be in Bhopal
for 24 hours.
In the evening, PM
will deliberate with party MPs,
MLAs and senior functionaries
of the State unit for around two
hours during the dinner at the
Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.
Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, Chief
Minister Mohan Yadav, senior
officials and Bharatiya Janata
Party’s top brass reviewed preparations at the auditorium on
Saturday. They gave necessary
instructions to ensure smooth
arrangements. After that PM will
stay in the night in the President’s
Suite at Raj Bhavan.
In Bhopal, the longest stretch
PM Modi’s convoy will traverse
will be Koh-e-Fiza, Gandhi Nagar,
Talaiya, Shyamla Hills and Arera
Hills.
On the February 24 morning at around 10 am, the Prime
Minister will inaugurate the
Global Investors Summit 2025 in
Bhopal. This event will highlight
the investment climate and
industrial infrastructure of
Madhya Pradesh, offering
numerous opportunities for
potential collaborations. The
Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal will
host a plethora of departmental
summits and thematic sessions
covering various sectors such as
pharma and medical devices,
transport and logistics, industry,
skill development, tourism, and
MSMEs.
Business tycoons and delegates from over 60 nations, distinguished industry leaders, and
policymakers will gather in this
gala event, an official statement
released here stated.
