An important meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Anusuchit Jati Morcha was held at the party’s divisional office, on Sunday. National President of the Morcha, Lal Singh Arya chaired the meeting.
Addressing a huge gathering of party leaders and workers, Arya accused the Congress party of using Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and minorities merely as vote banks. He said that since Narendra Modi's government took power at the center, efforts have been made for the overall development of these communities.
He also highlighted various government schemes aimed at uplifting the SC community, ensuring their representation and providing them with a dignified life in society.
Arya further said that Prime Minister Modi has worked towards empowering every section of society, including women, youth and senior citizens, by implementing several welfare programmes. He said the BJP Government has provided significant opportunities for SC communities across various sectors, ensuring their participation in national progress.
Expressing views on the occasion, BJP City President Ratnesh Sonkar reiterated the party’s commitment to implementing welfare schemes for the SC community at the grassroots level. He stressed the importance of ensuring that these efforts benefit the beneficiaries and contribute to their growth alongside the nation’s development.
Prior to the meeting, senior BJP leaders and workers accorded a grand welcome to Lal Singh Arya at party’s divisional office.
